I grew up on a farm in rural Southwestern Minnesota and learned to take pictures through the local 4-H program. I took most of my pictures of the nature and landscape around me, and people told me that many of my pictures held special meaning for them.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then those words make up countless memories.
That’s what motivated me to turn my hobby into a part-time venture – photography that means something to people.
After several family members encouraged me to use photography to capture memories for other people, I began taking pictures and marketing them outside my family. People have also liked the note cards and post cards I’ve made out of some of my most popular prints.
